  • Osteoarticular Innovation

    Osteoarticular Innovation

The INVES BIOFARM research team is proud to announce our involvement in another project of excellence in innovation.

Our primary goal is the development of a highly effective and safe product for the treatment of knee joint lesions (or articular injuries). We aim to address osteoarticular pathologies through an innovative solution that offers regenerative benefits.

The core of this innovation lies in the implementation of an advanced encapsulation method to incorporate new technologies into the final formulation. This approach guarantees the stability, efficacy, and controlled release of the active principles, thereby maximizing their therapeutic potential.

The project is supported by a high-level scientific and technological consortium, composed of:

Inves Biofarm (Coordinator) Leitat (Technological Center) VHIR (Vall d’Hebron Research Institute)

This collaboration is based on a long and fruitful track record of joint success, ensuring the integration of expertise in research, technological development, and clinical application.

  • Innovation for the Treatment of Vaginal Atrophy

Innovation for the Treatment of Vaginal Atrophy

The INVES BIOFARM team is currently carrying out the VAGINEF project in collaboration with Leitat and the Vall d’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona.

The central goal of the project is the development of an effective and safe topical product designed for the treatment of vaginal atrophy. This development seeks to significantly improve the quality of life for women suffering from this condition.

The crucial technological innovation lies in the use of a protein stabilization technology patented by the company. This method allows the protein activity to be preserved intact for a longer period, thereby ensuring maximum efficacy.

The project benefits from the multidisciplinary expertise of its collaborators:

INVES BIOFARM, Providing the stabilization technology and project coordination.

Leitat, A key technological center and Vall d’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona, Guaranteeing clinical validation and the practical application of the research.

INVES BIOFARM boosts sustainability with new photovoltaic installation

INVES BIOFARM, a leader in biotechnological solutions, is taking a firm step towards sustainability with the installation of 130 photovoltaic modules on its facilities. This initiative, which will generate 100,000 kWh of clean energy per year, reinforces the company’s commitment to protecting the environment and reducing its carbon footprint.

The new photovoltaic plant will allow INVES BIOFARM to cover a significant part of its energy needs with renewable energy. It is estimated that this installation will avoid the emission of approximately 32 tons of CO2 per year, equivalent to planting more than 900 trees.

At INVES BIOFARM, we believe that innovation and sustainability go hand in hand. This investment in solar energy not only optimises our processes, but also contributes to a greener and more responsible future.

The installation of photovoltaic modules is part of the company’s overall strategy to align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular SDG 7 (affordable and clean energy) and SDG 13 (climate action). Furthermore, this initiative positions INVES BIOFARM as a benchmark in the biotechnology sector, demonstrating that it is possible to combine operational excellence with environmental responsibility.

INVES BIOFARM invites its partners, customers and the community to join this commitment to a sustainable future and reaffirms its commitment to the environment.
